KSOP Inc. has an immediate opening for a Traffic Coordinator. This position will also include some promotional responsibilities. Strong communicators with proven professional and organizational skills are a must.

 

KSOP is a family-owned, local, independent radio station that has been broadcasting in Utah since 1955.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily commercial logs
  • Manage commercial inventory for stations utilizing the Visual Traffic system (editing logs, scheduling displaced spots, and managing pre-empts when possible)
  • Work closely with the sales team to manage commercial inventory
  • Assign and manage the input of commercial material
  • Accurately enter station contracts
  • Reconcile logs
  • Prepare reports for the sales team as needed
  • Aide in promotions such as remotes, events, and other marketing and promotions team activities
  • Assist with contest prize inventory, sheets, fulfillment, and release forms
  • Other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position

 

 

Qualifications:

  • The ability to multi-task, manage and follow through on multiple projects, prioritize duties, and handle a high-volume workload
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must
  • Experience in radio, television, cable, or other media traffic or relevant experience performing the job duties
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Possess analytical problem-solving skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to act professionally and collaborate with colleagues
